A Heart for the City, In the Heart of the City
We chose to locate ourselves in downtown Decatur because we believe God is where the people are. Being downtown allows us to meet people going to work, people going for coffee or shopping, and people looking for a place to sleep for the night. We believe God knows and sees each and every one of these people. He knows each story and we want to be ready to greet each person and partner with Jesus as he changes this world one life at a time.
Why Renaissance Exists
Having witnessed first-hand the transforming power of Jesus Christ in our own lives, the community at Renaissance strives to create an environment where the "un-churched" as well as the "de-churched" will feel unconditional acceptance. We gather weekly to share stories of courage and sacrifice; stories that have the power to change our lives and the lives of others.
